Stepping Into Faith
By Richard K. Marshall · Originally published
Faith is a journey, not a destination.
We walk through valleys of regret. We climb mountains of challenges. Through all of it, God guides us with love and mercy.
Trust, not perfection
Jesus didn't ask His disciples for perfection. He asked for trust, and a humble heart willing to seek forgiveness.
In Matthew 17:20, He reminds us that faith as small as a mustard seed can move mountains.
It's not about how perfect your faith is. It's about who you put your faith in.
God's grace is enough.
Two questions for this week
- Where is God calling you to trust Him more deeply?
- What part of your life needs His healing touch of repentance and forgiveness?
The first step to real change may surprise you. It's surrender.
Let go of fear, doubt and shame. Give them to the One who has already forgiven you. His love never fails, and His plan for you is hope and restoration.
Growth takes time
If you're working through a struggle, chasing a goal or just getting through a hard season, remember: God works on His timing, not ours.
Like a seed in the ground, growth takes time. In His hands, your smallest efforts, prayers and faith will bear fruit.
No step is too small for His love and grace.
You are loved. You are forgiven. You are not alone.
We walk together in faith, one day at a time. Keep moving forward, keep trusting, and never underestimate what God can do with a mustard seed.
